HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!!

GEEZ... time goes by fast.... It seems like Anime-Expo was only yesterday... the Summer... the beach... the fun... anyway...

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!!

For cosplayers, Halloween is a fun, yet, frustrating holiday. SURE cosplayers have costumes ready to be worn for a night of haunts and fun... but... really... if you were a cosplayer, would you want some kind of accident happening to your piece of art that you have slaved over for day of your life that you'll never get back??? Probably not. PLUS, not only that, would any of the norms recognize who you were cosplaying??? Again, probably not... oh well... Thank Haruhi that there is always a Con coming up soon!

Ok... well... the pics today aren't of cosplay. They are of some of my Nendos having fun for Halloween!!! You know what Halloween means, right? CANDY! LOTS AND LOTS OF CANDY!!! So, sugar up and have fun tonight! And... TRICK OR TREAT!!!

Figure Fridays: At The Castle Walls

It's FIGURE FRIDAY!!!!!!

For this set, I wanted to place some figures in front of Castle Grayskull, a playset from Mattel's Masters of the Universe 200X line.

Now, I don't remember if I've ever had the original Castle Grayskull, but I do recall owning Skeletor's Snake Mountain, and Hordak's cave playsets.

Happy Trails

Wassup, Anime Fans!!!

When Good Smile Company had a Toy Photography contest, a few months ago, I entered a few photos... OK... I entered a lot! But, I did so because I already had so many of their figures and I had wanted to take different photos and try new things with them! PART 5 OF 5!!!

One of the things, that I like to do, is go hiking and dragging along my figures with me to take some photos. For this set, for the GSC contest, I took early morning shots during the middle of the week, so that there weren't many people on the trail at the time. This made for a couple great shots of a lost Hachikuji. The sun also hit the side of the hill quite nicely, which felt really natural for a Saber photo. Yagyu caught the nice sky color quite well while crossing over the bridge. All in all, it was a nice hike.

Well, that was the last of the Good Smile Company contest pics, that I submitted! It was fun, and I'm curious to what they'll do next!

The Sharpest Things

Wassup, Anime Fans!!!

When Good Smile Company had a Toy Photography contest, a few months ago, I entered a few photos... OK... I entered a lot! But, I did so because I already had so many of their figures and I had wanted to take different photos and try new things with them! PART 4 OF 5!!!

The Sharpest Things is referring to choice of weaponry that each figure is carrying. In the first photo, I placed Saber in front of Castle Grayskull. Shiki, in pink kimono, was placed in my friend's Japanese garden, while Shiki, in her normal outfit, was taken at Slenderman Woods.

Darkness

Wassup, Anime Fans!!!

When Good Smile Company had a Toy Photography contest, a few months ago, I entered a few photos... OK... I entered a lot! But, I did so because I already had so many of their figures and I had wanted to take different photos and try new things with them!

For this set, I wanted to have my figures in a dark setting and possibly have an underlight on some of them. For this, I used my lightbox. I also decided to experiment with some effects, which still need a lot of work, but, for how fast I pumped them out, not bad.

I think I ended up getting an honorable mention or something, which is not bad since I just started taking pics!
