Anime-Expo 2013 was a pretty fun ride! Lots of great things! Lots of great memories! Lots of attendees! And, of course, lots of awesome cosplay! I hope that the coming years ups the game, for everyone, for cosplays and just having a good fun time!

Anime-Expo 2013 - Part 6

The cosplay, at Anime-Expo, is like the Super Bowl for cosplay in California. Sure, there are the other smaller cons that have a higher ratio of cosplayers, BUT, AX is where all the cosplayers pull out some amazing stuff. A lot of focus is for AX while, it seems, the other cons are testing grounds for their new cosplay! That's not to say that the small cons, you won't find awesome cosplay, cos, in actuality, you'll probably find the best cosplay at the smaller cons (less people equals less chance of costume becoming ruined).

Anime-Expo 2013 - Part 4

When you're at a booth, like I usually am, at a convention, you don't get a lot of time to go around and take pics of all the cool cosplay that's around. Usually, you're stationed at you one designated spot from opening until close, and only after the dealer hall closes, you are able to walk around and take pics. I enjoy taking pics too, but, my passion is more on my drawings. Luckily, having a booth also means that the cosplay comes to you!

Anime-Expo 2013 - Part 3

Anime-Expo grows every year. This is good, because, you get to see more people, make new friends, and AX is able to afford bringing new and cool guests!

This year, my biggest guest was Noizi Ito. She is one of the creators of Haruhi Suzumiya and she is one of my inspirations for drawing in my anime style. Every con has some sort of guest. Meeting a guest, a creator of something you really love is just an amazing experience.

Anime-Expo 2013 - Part 2

While walking around the AX lobby, I happened to see Danny Choo, from Good Smile Company, sitting at the merchandise booth. I happened to have a figure on me, so I decided to take a pic of him with it!

Anime-Expo is a great place for cosplay, yes, but, another thing, that I enjoy about AX is the gathering of friends and meeting new ones. You might walk to a panel and bump into someone cosplaying from the same series as you and instantly become friends. "Oh, you like Attack on Titan? So do I! Let's cosplay together!"

Happy Birthday Naruto!! Anime-Expo Part 1.5

Wassup, anime fans!

A lot of you know that I won the We Love Fine Naruto contest and my tshirt is currently being sold at Hot Topic. During Anime-Expo, I was being interviewed by Viz Media at the Viz booth with We Love Fine, and the super awesome Imari was cosplaying Naruto while interviewing me! It was truly a fun and awesome time!
